Yasuo Suzuki made two international appearances as a defender. He made his début in 1934 at the Far Eastern Games against China. At the 1936 Olympics he only played the second game when Japan was easily defeated by Italy. Suzuki replaced Tadao Horie who had broken his arm in the first game against Sweden.
