Gerd Stöck had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1936 Olympics Javelin Throw, 3rd in the 1936 Olympics Shot Put; 2nd in the 1938 European Championships Shot Put. In the 1938 European Championships javelin throw he finished seventh.
