Konrad Srzednicki died only a few months before his 100th birthday. He studied in Warszawa and later taught in Kraków. He was mainly a printmaker (lithographs, wood, metal and printing techniques) as well as a painter of landscapes and still lifes in Poland. His compositions, mainly in metal technology, were quite varied. Srzednicki often created idyllic, mystical scenes, often based on myths from the Mediterranean and the cultural heritage of the ancient world.
