Biography

Michel Soalhat competed for Nogent (up to 1894), [UA 1er] (1895-1896), and Racing CF (from 1896 onwards). He was French champion in 800 m (1895, 1896, 1904, and 1905), 1500 m (1894, 1895, 1904, and 1905), steeplechase (1895 and 1896), and cross country (1896 and 1897). Soalhat set French records in 800 m (1895 in 2:03.6 and 1896 in 2:01.0), 1000 m (1896 in 2:38.0), and 1500 m (1895 in 4:16.4 and 1904 in 4:08.2).

Personal Bests: 800 – 1.59.0 (1906); 1500 – 4.08.2 (1904).
