Jon Snersrud won the B-class in Nordic Combined at Holmenkollen in 1923, but his best placing in the A-class was eighth in 1930. His bronze medal in the 1928 Games was his only championship medal. He placed second in the open German Championship in ski jumping after the 1928 Games. Snersrud was born in Hallingdal, and settled in the industrial town of Rjukan where he worked as an electrician until his retirement. |
