Biography

Milkha Singh had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards. He also finished fifth with the 4×440 yards relay team (with the non-Olympians Alex Silvera, Daljit Singh, and Wahid Usmani) at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.

Father of professional golfer Jeev Milkha Singh.

Personal Bests: 200 – 20.7 (1960); 400 – 45.73 (1960).
