Biography

Pete Shmock finished second at the 1972 NCAA shot put. At the AAUs, he placed in the top six for seven consecutive years (1974-80), with best places of third in 1975, 1977, and 1980. He competed for Oregon and the Southern Cal Striders.

Personal Bests: SP – 21.10 (69-3) (1976); HT – 50.87 (166-11) (1972).
