| A high hurdler who ran for Cal State Chico and the Laurel Track Club, Cherrie Sherrard competed for the United States five times in international dual meets. She also ran the high hurdles at the 1967 Pan-American Games, winning the gold medal. Sherrard-Parrish later became a teacher and coach.
