Mary Seaton skied for Burke Mountain Academy and later the University of Vermont, from which she graduated in 1983. She skied for the US National Team on the World Cup circuit in 1975-77, with three top 10 finishes in World Cup races. Seaton later married and her daughter, Kelly, also became a top skier, skiing for Middlebury College. Tragically, in a college ski race, Kelly Brush was paralyzed from the neck down after a bad fall. Seaton and her family started the Kelly Brush Foundation to support spinal cord injury victims.
