Biography

Friedrich Scharrer finished third in the Greco-Roman 60.0 kg class at the unofficial World Championships held in Vienna 1911. He qualified for the 1912 Olympics when he finished second (next to [Heinrich Rauß]) in the featherweight class at the selecting competition held in Vienna (Apollo-Säle) on 9 June 1912. Two month after the Olympics Scharrer won the Greco-Roman 60.0 kg class at the unofficial European Championship.
