Egon Schein had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1934 European Championships 4×100 metres Relay (with Erwin Gillmeister, Gerd Hornberger, and Erich Borchmeyer). In the 1934 European Championships 200 metres Schein finished fifth.
