Biography

Danuta Rosani was Polish women’s champion in the discus in 1974 and 1976. At the 1976 Montréal Olympics she was disqualified for anabolic steroid use, which was the first official doping cause in the history of track & field at the Olympics. She later married discus thrower Andrzej Gwardecki and had a daughter named Agnes.

Personal Best: DT – 62.60 (1976).
