Ken Richmond had the following finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games heavyweight class; 3rd in the 1950 British Empire heavyweight class. In the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games heavyweight class he finished sixth. At the British Empire (and Commonwealth) Games he competed for England.
