Biography
Joachim Rademacher had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1926 European Championships 4×200 metres Freestyle Relay (with August Heitmann, Friedel Berges, and Herbert Heinrich), 1st in the 1927 European Championships 4×200 metres Freestyle Relay (with August Heitmann, Friedel Berges, and Herbert Heinrich), 3rd in the 1926 European Championships 1500 metres Freestyle, 3rd in the 1927 European Championships 1500 metres Freestyle. He later owned a kiosk within the Westfalenhalle of Dortmund. He was the uncle of Ulrich Rademacher who has won 11 German Championships in swimming between 1954 and 1958 and beaten 37 German records in these times. |
