Biography

Cynthia Poor ran for San Jose State, U Cal Davis, and Athletes in Action. In 1976 she set the American record in the 1,500 metres with 4:07.32, and was the AAU indoor champion at 880 yards in 1977. She twice represented the US in dual meets against the Soviet Union, and in 1975 ran in the International Cross-Country Championships, where she placed 27th.

Personal Bests: 400 – 55.7 (1973); 800 – 2:00.15 (1976); 1500 – 4:06.83 (1976); 3000 – 9:24.1 (1975).
