Biography
Dan Pippin graduated from the University of Missouri in the late 40s and went on to become a star in the AAU basketball leagues with the Peoria Caterpillars. He was playing for Peoria when he made the 1952 Olympic team and he continued to play for them until the late 50s. He also left the employ of Peoria at that time to enter the insurance business. Pippin later committed suicide. |
