Mark Pharaoh had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Discus Throw. In in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games he also finished fifth in the shot put and tenth in the hammer throw. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for England.
