Biography

Wanda Nowak finished eighth in the 1938 European Championships high jump. In the European Championships she had to competed for Nazi Germany after the "Anschluss". She was Austrian champion in high jump (1935-1937 and 1939), long jump (1934 and 1937-1940), javelin throw (1938 and 1939), and pentathlon ([100-SP-LJ-HJ-JT], 1934-1940).

Personal Best: HJ – 1.56 (1938).
