Patricia Norton had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1938 British Empire Games 110 yards Backstroke, 2nd in the 1938 British Empire Games 4×110 yards Freestyle Relay (with Evelyn de Lacy and the non-Olympians Dorothy Green and Margaret Rawson), 3rd in the 1938 British Empire Games 3×110 yards Medley Relay (with Evelyn de Lacy and the non-Olympian Valerie George). She also competed in the 1938 British Empire Games 440 yards Freestyle.
