Biography

Swede Stig Munthe-Sandberg was a visual artist and cartoonist. Munthe-Sandberg studied at the Konstakademien Stockholm, as well as in Germany, Italy, France and England. He produced figurative compositions, circus and theater designs, and landscapes, especially in charcoal and pastel. Munthe-Sandberg remained one of the few artists from that era whose works are still kept in Swedish museums.
