Biography

Joseph Musch started as a youth player at Uccle Sports. He won three Belgian Championship titles (1910, 1913, 1923) with Union Saint-Gilloise, twice winning the cup (1913-14). He played for this club from 1909-14, and again after World War I from 1919-28, a total 258 matches in Belgium’s First Division, scoring 113 goals. Internationally, Musch earned 24 caps from 1911-24, scoring three goals. At age 17, he was one of the youngest Belgian nationals ever. At Paris in 1924 Musch was a substitute but did not play.
