Biography

Apart from his appearance at the 1924 Winter Olympics, nothing is known about René Mortiaux. In the Four/Five man event, he was one of riders on the [Charles Mulder] sled, along with [Paul Van den Broek], [Victor Verschueren] and [Henri Willems]. In each of the runs, the team placed third, resulting in a bronze medal, 20 seconds ahead of the fourth-place team, France.
