Biography

Brenda Morehead ran sprints for Tennesse State. She competed twice at the Pan American Games, winning a 4×100 metres relay gold medal in 1975 (with Pam Jiles, Chandra Cheeseborough, and Martha Watson) and 1979 (with Valerie Brisco, Chandra Cheeseborough, and the non-Olympian Karen Hawkins), and a silver medal in the 100 in 1979. Morehead won the 1976 Olympic Trials in both the 100 and 200, but was unable to medal in Montréal. She won the 1976 AAU 200 metres and the AAU Indoors in the 60 yards in 1977-78.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.08 (1976); 200 – 22.38 (1980).
