Apart from playing with his younger brother, Charles , on the winning Roehampton team at the 1908 Olympics, George Miller’s other successes included six Champion Cup victories and two wins in the Ranelagh Open Cup. He also captained England in the 1920 Westchester Cup matches. Like his brother, he was educated at Marlborough and Trinity College, Cambridge and also served in Remount Depot in the war. He assisted in the management of the Roehampton Club together with a third brother, Edward. He died while on a cruise in the West Indies. |
