Biography

Wayne Meredith played defense for the University of Minnesota in college. At the 1960 NCAA Championship, he was named to the All-Tournament team. Meredith played one year of minor league hockey, in 1962-63, with the St. Paul Steers of the US Hockey League and the St. Paul Saints of the International Hockey League. His older brother, Dick Meredith, was on the 1960 US gold-medal winning hockey team.
