Biography

Karl-Heinz Menz won his only international medal at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Games in the relay together with [Frank Ullrich], [Manfred Beer] and [Manfred Geyer], finishing behind the Soviet Union and Finland. Domestically Menz won the 10 km East German title in 1974, while in 1972 and 1976 he was runner-up in the relay with his homeclub ASK Vorwärts Oberhof. Later he worked for the World Cup team at Oberhof as a start and finish judge.
