Biography

Ed Mendoza ran distances for the University of Arizona and Tiger International. He competed in the 1976 Olympic 10K and the 1983 World Championships marathon. Mendoza was AAU 25 km. champion in 1974.

Personal Bests: 1500 – 3:52.4 (1976); Mile – 4:03.1 (1974); 2 miles – 8:33.2i (1975); 5000 – 13:56.8 (1974); 10000 – 28:23.2 (1976); Mar – 2-10:07 (1983).
