Biography

Adrian Metcalfe had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1964 Olympics 4×400 metres; 2nd in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×440 yards Relay (with Barry Jackson, Robbie Brightwell, and the non-Olympian Bob Setti). In the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards Metcalfe was eliminated in the heat. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for England.

Personal Best: 400 – 45.7 (1961).
