Biography

Tom McMeekin was the owner of Dormy which won the 6-metre class at the 1908 Olympic Games. He nominated the designer of the boat, [Gilbert Laws], as helmsman and chose to act as crew together with [Charles Crichton]. McMeekin did much of his sailing from the Itchenor Club.
