Biography

Jim McNally competed in rapid-fire pistol for the United States at the 1968 and 1972 Olympics. He served in the US Army at Fort Benning, Georgia and was a combat sniper in Vietnam. McNally was Interservice Pistol Champion in 1971 and won the 1962 CISM center-fire pistol title. After leaving the military McNally worked for Glock where he and his sons designed the McNally Trigger for Glock pistols. He also worked as a law enforcement sales manager at Glock. His son, [John McNally], competed at five consecutive Olympics (1984-2000), while another son, Ken, was a pistol shooting world champion.
