Biography

Mayerhöfer is one of the most succesful German hockey players ever. Between 1992 and 2006 he played in 315 games for Germany. The Olympic title in 1992 was his major success. But there are many more medals he picked at International Tournaments. At the World Championships he won a gold medal in 2002 and a bronze Medal in 1998. He was European Champion 1995 and 1999. He won the Champions Trophy in 1995, 1997 and 2001. He also played several matches Indoor where he picked the European Champions Title in 1994, 1997, 1999 and 2006.
