Biography

Charles Mays was AAU indoor long jump champion in 1962 and 1964. He competed for the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and the Grand Street Boys Association. He was second at the outdoor AAU long jump in 1964 and 1966.

Personal Bests: 200 – 21.1 (1968); 440y – 48.2 (1961); HJ – 1.95 (6-4¾) (1961); LJ – 8.01 (26-3½) (1964); TJ – 14.79 (48-6½) (1964).
