Biography

Bridget MacIntyre, usually called Bud, competed in one Olympics as a rider, the first female to compete in the sport for Australia. While in Tokyo for the Olympics she married Australian show jumper Bill Hyem. She later became better known as a horse breeder, breeding [Kibah Tic-Toc] and [Kibah Sandstone], which both won gold medals at the Olympics. The two horses were half-brothers and were both ridden by Matt Ryan who won gold on Tic-Toc at Barcelona in 1992 and on Sandstone at Sydney in 2000.
