Born in Scotland, Jack Lyons played two seasons in the American Soccer League (ASL). In 1926-27 he played in eight games with the Providence Football Club, and Fall River Shamrocks. He next appeared in the ASL in 1931 when he appeared in one game for the Boston Bears. Lyons earned two caps for the US, playing at the 1928 Olympics in the loss to Argentina, and then in a friendly against Poland on 10 June 1928, which resulted in a 3-3 tie. |
