Robert Lindsay-Watson represented Cambridge vs. Oxford in the hammer (1907-09) and in 1908 placed third at the AAA Championships. Although he failed to win a blue at rugby football he was capped as a winger by Scotland in 1909 and contributed a try in the 9-3 defeat of Ireland. He also represented Cambridge at billiards in 1908. On leaving Cambridge, he joined the family tweed manufacturing business. Personal Bests: HT – 45.36 (148-10) (1909). |
