In the 17 - 1 routing of the French "A" team in the semi-finals, Lindgren scored twice, before losing to host nation Great Britain in the final. After the Olympics, Lindgren, who played for København side B93, was only called up internationally once more, scoring the only Danish goal in a 2-1 defeat against England.
