Paul Lecaron played singles and doubles at the 1900 Olympics, losing in the second round of singles, and the first round of doubles, which he played with [Pierre Lebréton]. Lecaron was a semi-finalist at the 1897 and 1899 French Closed Championships, and made the semis at the 1903 Paris International. He was a quarter-finalist at the French Covered Court Championships in 1896, 1898, 1900-02 and 1904, and also made the quarters at the 1902 Paris International.
