Wolfgang Lange had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1963 K4 1000 m (with Dieter Krause, Günter Perleberg, and the non-Olympian Siegfried Roßberg), 2nd 1963 K2 1000 m (with Dieter Krause), 3rd 1963 K1 4×500 m (with Dieter Krause, Günter Perleberg, and the non-Olympian Siegfried Roßberg), 3rd 1966 K4 10000 m (with the non-Olympians Günter Holzvoigt, Wolfgang Niedrig, and Siegwart Karbe). At the world championships Lange represented East Germany. |
