American painter Alexander Kruse was an influential teacher at the Brooklyn Museum of Art School. In addition, he worked as an art critic for the New York Post. Kruse was the author of How to Draw and Paint which sold over 150,000 copies. This is a unique and whimsical work of one of Kruse’s favorite places in New York.
