Biography

Claude Kohler attended Tulane University, where he was a sailor and a champion table tennis player. Kohler had been in the US Navy as a pilot, where he was considered an “all-sport star.” Kohler represented the Southern Yacht Club and the Bay Waveland Yacht Club. He sailed in the Dragon class at the 1960 Olympics along with [Gene Walet, III] and [Allen McClure]. Kohler worked as an insurance salesman in 1960.
