Luxembourgian Michel Jungblut was a cabinetmaker and woodcarver. He received his training at the Weber workshop in his hometown Remich, before he founded his own ebénisterie (atelier of a cabinetmaker), which still exists. Jungblut also worked on the restoration of wooden interiors, and as a stone sculptor. Several family members succeeded him in his profession.
