Biography

Brian Job was an engineering graduate from Stanford and he swam for the Santa Clara SC. He won 14 AAU titles. In addition to his bronze medal in 1968, he also swam in the 200 m breaststroke at the 1972 Olympics, but was eliminated in the heats. At the 1971 Pan American Games he won gold in the 4×100 metre medley (with John Murphy, Jerry Heidenreich, and the non-Olympian Frank Heckl), silver in the 100 metres breaststroke, and bronze in the 200 metres breaststroke.
