Biography

Nataliya Isakova won her first international medal as a short-track speed skater at the 1989 Winter Universiade, where she won a silver as a member of the Soviet relay team. At the 1991 World Championships, Isakova again won a relay silver and at the 1992 Winter Olympics won a relay bronze. Isakova won her only Russian title in 1993, at 1000 m, and won a relay gold at the 1994 European Championships.
