Biography

Apart from being a member of the teams that set new world records in both freestyle relays at the Tokyo Olympics, Gary Ilman also placed fourth in the individual 100m freestyle after setting new Olympic records in the heats and semi-finals. Ilman, who represented the Santa Clara SC, was also a member of the team that won the 800m free relay at the 1963 Pan-American Games.
