After the 1932 Olympics Russell Hunt had a brief career in which he competed in six-day events in 1936, placing fourth at both Ottawa and Montréal. He was also the Canadian national all-around champion this year, earning this distinction while competing out of the Toronto-based Maple Leaf Wheelmen Club.
