Biography

Jan Hrbatý was the rare Czechoslovakian ice hockey who spent his entire career with one club, playing for HC Dukla Jihlava from 1961-79 as a forward. Internationally he played at the 1968 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal, and at three World Championships – 1967, 1969, 1970 – winning bronze medals in 1969 and 1970.
