Biography

Peter Hoag graduated from Minneapolis North High School in 1972, where he was on the ski, track, and tennis teams, and then attended the University of New Hampshire. He was US champion in 1977 in the 10K and in 1978 in the 20K. Hoag was an alternate on the 1976 Winter Olympic team, but did not compete. At the time of the 1980 Winter Olympics, he worked part-time for Samsonite.
