Biography

Frank Holmes competed for the University of Chicago and the Chicago AA. He was one of the first US athletes of mixed ethnicity, having been born to a Brazilian father and French mother. He later became a portrait, commercial, and design artist.

Personal Bests: sHJ – 1.525 (5-0) (1908); sLJ – 3.10 (10-2¼) (1908); TJ – 13.56 (44-5¾) (1912).
