Biography

Don Gwinn was a hammer thrower for the University of Pittsburgh when he won the NCAA Meet in 1927 and 1929, finishing second in 1928. At the AAUs he was second in 1927 and third in 1926 and 1928. He later competed for the Westinghouse Club and the Illinois AC.

Personal Best: HT – 49.96 (163-11) (1927).
