John Gourley was the captain of the gold medal winning Galt Football Club in 1904. He had a long career beginning with the Western Football Association team in 1889. He later played for the Toronto Marlboros prior to joining Galt. With Galt, he helped them win the Ontario Cup from 1901-1903, and the WFA Championship from 1901-1904. |
